George & Joseph Mathews took a trip to the village of Siba, Slovakia in 1975. The Mathews name was Macus. They changed the name when they emigrated to the United States in 1885. Their father, Andrej Jozef Macus, was born in Siba. George & Joseph had the opportunity of visiting with their Slovak cousins, who still live on the same ancestral farm.
